The arts are a vital part of every community and at Socorro County Arts, we have been working for more than a decade to ensure Socorro, NM, is bursting with the beauty of local artists’ hard work. We are a group working together to promote the arts and artists in Socorro County. The goal is to promote all artists (performance artists, visual artists, fiber artists, sculptors, jewelers, fine crafters, etc.)

Socorro County Arts offers free workshops, Annual Spring Open House, and Festival of the Cranes Arts and Crafts Fair. These events are co-sponsored by the City of Socorro. The arts group also manages the Alamo Gallery and Gifts that shows works from local artists and artists from the Alamo Chapter of the Navajo Nation.

Our gallery features stunning creations perfect for any occasion and is friendly for all ages to visit and get involved.

At one of our many festivals throughout the year, you can check out beautiful pieces of art while socializing with other members of the community.

Join us for one of our art workshops—did we mention they’re free? Whether you’re an artist or simply a lover of art, we have something here for everyone. Make sure to check out our calendar to find one that fits your interests!

Members of our art community have benefits that typical spectators do not. For just a small annual fee, you can join our Socorro Arts Family.  Reach out to us now for more information on how to become a member and what benefits that decision includes.
